In May 2021, 76 blockchain startups secured over $2.15 billion in funding rounds, marking a decline of approximately 21.23% MoM from April 2021. Compared to the same month last year, when 11 deals totaled $77.9000 million, there is a growth of about 2861.39% YoY. Despite this decline, investor interest remains strong in the Polygon ecosystem and Investing sector, reflecting ongoing momentum within the blockchain investment landscape.
In May 2021, 76 blockchain startups achieved over $2.15 billion in funding across 76 investment rounds. The most significant deal was clinched by Trade Republic, which raised $900 million. Notably, 46 rounds were pre-Series A, involving 46 early-stage ventures gaining recognition.
