Zac Thomas

Zac Thomas is Portfolio Manager at SBC Fintech Mexico City, Co-Writer CryptoAM, Politics Junkie, All Blacks best sporting team of all time change my mind. Zac is a New Zealander currently based in Mexico City. As Portfolio Development Manager for Startupbootcamp Fintech Mexico City, Zac's role is to handle the 30 companies that belong to our portfolio, assisting them with a variety of tasks including attracting investment, building new business partnerships, and generally helping to solve any problems these companies may have. In addition, Zac is heavily involved with the recruitment, coordination and execution of SBC's Acceleration and Scale programs in Mexico City. Zac is a big believer in the potential of fintech to increase well-being in Latin America and accelerate growth in the continent. He is especially interested in the potential for decentralized technologies to increase transparency and reduce corruption in developing countries, with a focus on customer centered tech that improves adoption. He channels some of these thoughts in a twice weekly crypto newsletter called CryptoAM, helping to break down the noise and analyze the important events and trends in the crypto world.
