At Volara, we champion the vision of an open internet where users have full ownership of their data and the AI models they help create. Volara is a decentralized data marketplace for X data, built on the robust Vana network. We empower users by giving them ownership of their data and enabling them to earn from it. Inspired by the ethos of open source software, we believe AI models should be developed collaboratively and iteratively by a community. To realize this, researchers must have access to the world’s best datasets, currently locked within walled gardens. Volara breaks down these barriers by allowing X users to offload their prohibitively expensive data to be monetized by themselves.
