Scientific Lead for Molecule - An Open Source Protocol for Drug Research and Development. I am currently working as the scientific lead for Molecule, a protocol for open-source drug discovery, research, and development. I previously completely an IRTA Fellowship at the National Institute on Aging (NIH/NIA/IRP) in the Laboratory of Molecular Gerontology under Dr. David M. Wilson III and Dr. Vilhelm Bohr where my work was concerned with the repair of endogenous DNA damage, specifically in the context of ageing. As an undergraduate, I worked with Dr. Ron Hutchison and Dr. Daniel Hernandez investigating pathogenesis in limulus egg populations using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS). Additionally, I worked in the laboratory of Dr. Robert Fine at Columbia University investigating mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in pancreatic cancer and working to develop novel therapeutic strategies for various cancers.
