Storyverse
Storyverse is a no-code interactive storytelling game publishing platform on the blockchain. By Justin Waldron, Michael Carter and Patrick Chapman. The Storyverse is a blockchain project focused on no-code game publishing tools for PFP communities. It empowers PFP owners to create and publish personalized interactive storytelling games about their own PFPs and then post links to them anywhere on the web. The UGC tools put PFP character development and lore in the hands of the community and give birth to a new generation of interactive community-created games - known as stories - for people to play. In the Storyverse, communities, tools, and tokens work together to fuel a new community-driven character economy. Easy-to-use publishing tools allow people to breathe life into their characters and entertain audiences in any browser across the web. The no-code platform makes game creation accessible to everyone. The HTML5 format allows for game distribution outside of large mobile Web2 applications. Tokens help drive interactions. The project includes a chain-agnostic protocol design where data and information about the Storyverse is stored. It is the system of record - art assets, licenses, attributes, transactions, more - and allows users to create the backstory-of-record for every character in the Storyverse. The project initially launches on Ethereum. Plans are underway to scale in a cost-effective, climate friendly way.
