As some have experienced, liquidations are a nightmare that one has to constantly worry about and manage. None of the currently available lending platforms protect borrowers from liquidations. Ruler Protocol is a lending platform where users can borrow their preferred cryptocurrency with any other asset. It aims to fill the gap by enabling the following: No liquidations; Supply and demand determine interest rates; Fungible, tradeable loans. Ruler allows borrowers to deposit capital in return for a multi token mint process. This process allows the borrower to maintain their collateral while repaying within a specific time frame without having to worry about liquidation risk. Ruler allows lenders to collect loan payments with interest. Lenders also can claim any defaulted collateral if borrowers don’t pay on time.
