Richard Jun

Richard Jun is the Co-founder and Managing Director of BAM Ventures, a Los Angeles based venture capital firm that he started with Brian S. Lee, a serial angel investor and the co-founder of Legalzoom, Shoedazzle and The Honest Company. Prior to BAM, Richard served on Shoedazzle’s senior management team as its General Counsel and helped orchestratethe merger of the company with its largest competitor at the end of 2013. Before Shoedazzle, Richard headed the corporate practice at Lee, Tran and Liang, a boutique downtown Los Angeles law firm. He has extensive experience in all facets of transactional law having served as outside corporate counsel to a variety of companies across a multitude of industries and stages of growth. Richard has considerable experience counseling clients in a broad array of corporate and commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public securities offerings, secured financing transactions, strategic partnering and licensing technology and intellectual property. He was also the head attorney and lead business development executive at the US division of a prominent South Korean Entertainment conglomerate. Richard received an A.B. with honors from Harvard University, and a J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law.
