Richard Caetano

Richard Caetano is Co-Founder of Akord, technologist & entrepreneur focused on privacy-enhancing technologies. Previously co-founded Stratumn. I'm a software engineer and entrepreneur building products to secure your personal data. Over the last decade, I've been a developer, innovator and thought leader working with crypto, blockchain networks, and privacy-enhancing technologies. In 2015, I authored the book "Learning Bitcoin" published under Packt Publishing in the UK. Later that year I co-founded Stratumn, a leading blockchain company in Europe, focused on securing inter-business processes with blockchain and cryptography. At the end of 2019, I've transitioned out of Stratumn to start a new company. Our new project, Akord, is focused on protecting personal data. We're looking to partner with SME's and enterprise companies to build out tools to exchange, audit and compensate individuals providing personal data.
