PERENA is building Infrastructure for money. It offers a unifying layer for stablecoin liquidity. Think of Perena not as a stablecoin but as a decentralized card network. Like Visa, Perena lets you use your assets anywhere that accepts its underlying assets. Instead of getting a Visa card from a bank, you can buy or mint Perena stablecoins to pay, trade, or store value on-chain.

Our design principle: to merge money's dual functions as a store of value and medium of exchange, thereby increasing capital efficiency.

Our long term vision: foster entirely new forms of money from diverse assets, challenging the very definition of money by decoupling the unit of measure from the point of trust. It's an ambitious goal, but one we believe is crucial for the future of finance.

Etymology: Perena, derived from perennial, are plants that regrow every spring. To us, our name symbolizes the eternal trust and enduring challenge of transforming Perena into a lasting, chaordic organization that empowers rather than competes with the system at large.
