Layne Lafrance

Layne Lafrance is a Product Manager at Dapper Labs who inspires strategy and turns it into reality. She was a co-founder of the blockchain phenomenon, CryptoKitties. Her current focus is making decentralized infrastructure reliable and robust for the Dapper team to ship the next wave of digital experiences. Layne knows how to poke holes in theories, explore ideas that have never been considered, and spark healthy and engaging debate among the teams she works with. Her role as devil’s advocate stems from her constant battle to see the world from a point of view that isn’t hers. That determination led to roles as Chapter President and Board Director for LET’S (Learn Empower Transform Solve), an NGO promoting the importance and accessibility of education in developing countries. She also won a spot in The Next Big Thing Accelerator with her startup, Iconik. Layne is a Fellow of the Cansbridge Fellowship. She worked in Hong Kong for a health tech company, Heartisans, to help make the product more relevant to western audiences before their international launch. While there, Layne worked on customer discovery, marketing, UX, and design projects.
