LAUNCH was founded in November of 2010 by serial entrepreneur, angel investor and writer Jason McCabe Calacanis. Calacanis previously founded Silicon Alley Reporter, Engadget, Autoblog, Joystiq, TVSquad, Open Angel Forum, Mahalo and the now defunct TechCrunch50 conference.
