Justin Yashouafar

Justin Yashouafar is Managing Partner at Blockhead Capital. Thesis driven international hedge fund with a focus on crypto assets. Justin first learned about and began researching Bitcoin in 2011. In the summer of 2016, together with several investment banking peers, he developed a thesis to invest in Bitcoin as a hedge against sovereign currency collapse, potential hyperinflation, and a mounting global debt crisis. After deploying capital based on this thesis, Justin fell down the crypto rabbit hole when he learned about the industry-shifting potential of smart-contract enabled blockchain platforms. Justin is a transactional attorney by trade and has counseled and advised family offices, institutional funds, and publicly traded investment trusts, as well as seed and growth stage companies including WeWork, Cross Campus, and Mitú.
