A reliable and self-motivated individual offering a blend of enterprise and application architecture, hands on technical architecture development, governance, project management, team leadership, coaching and business analysis. From April 2008 I have been working for CSC as an Application Architect of the Zurich account, here I have leveraged all the architectural and technical expertise accumulated over the years, with the added challenge that comes from financial systems and a large offshore development team. Before I joined CSC I was the Senior Architect for Information Systems at Sage UK where after the years I end up being responsible for the technical architecture of IS. (Front / Back Office systems, Intranet, Internet and SAARS integration). I thrive with the challenge of being one of the drivers for the business strategy, trying to give always the best ROI (Return of Investment) and most important a competitive advantage. I am firm believer in agile methodologies, which in my opinion has allowed me to improve both the quality, speed of delivery and capability of change. Combined with the structure of software patterns like OO, DDD, SOA, Composite applications, middleware integration BPM, ESB, cloud computing and front ends like smart client, web or mobile. As an agile architect, I love to continuous research and keep hands on knowledge on every technology I specialise or responsible of, yet not losing sight of other technologies. This way I can be sure that the design of the systems will be realistic and most important finally work, but also provide me the necessary skill to be a good coach or leader due to my technical expertise.
