Jon Jones is Co-Founder of Unitychain. Currently researching CBDC - Central Bank Digital Currencies. Unitychain™ is an evolution of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). We utilize a novel consensus protocol (The Unity Protocol) that does not rely on wasteful Proof of Work Mining nor game theoretical Proof of Stake systems to remain secure and synchronized. Instead, utilizing Chaos Theory and The Butterfly Effect in conjunction with our system’s architecture, which includes a modern implementation of a Kademlia Distributed Hash Table (DHT), we are able to create an equitable and extremely secure network with built-in distributed storage and data integrity. Our network when fully operational can handle billions of nodes and process much more complex smart contracts than other "blockchains." We are building the foundation for what will become a truly global virtual machine and public utility that will be capable of being powered by edge computing even on lightweight machines such as mobile devices.
