Joel Dietz
Joel Dietz is an early Ethereum architect and MIT Fellow who started Metamask and formalized the academic field of cryptoeconomics. He is also a long standing hobbyist game designer and artist. He is the inventor and lead architect of Metameta lang.
He is a cyberfuturist artist and entrepreneur who has been at the forefront of several future tech trends including blockchain, tokenization, AR/VR and AI art. He was a founding member of Ethereum, started the internal Ethereum project which became the popular Metamask wallet, was the most cited author on Google Scholar on "cryptoeconomics," put together some of the largest deals in the asset tokenization space, and is the author of the monograph "Principles of Holonic System Design."
His recent projects include a wallet for the Metaverse (artwallet.co) and several academic leaning projects for MIT, Skoltech, and Notre Dame University, including a textbook style treatment of cryptoeconomics. He also has a large literary corpus and has produced several short and long films.
