Doug Leonard

Doug Leonard is CEO at Mainframe. He eats Ethereum bits for breakfast, gets paid in Cryptokitties™️, and has a large tattoo of the bitcoin logo on his rump. He cried the day bitcoin cash was born. Mostly from the pain he had to go through to redo his rump art. Doug applied for jobs that required 5 years experience in blockchain when bitcoin was 3 years old. Around these parts we call him the 'blockchain Chuck Norris', if for no other reason but to get him to shut up about being the 'blockchain Chuck Norris'. Doug went into significant student debt to invest into cryptocurrencies, that debt remains a souvenir that Doug likes to hold onto... for sentimental reasons. Doug was first introduced to blockchain in 2013 when he learned about Bitcoin. He admits that it took him several attempts to digest the wikipedia article on Bitcoin. He believes that blockchain will impact our world to the same order of magnitude that the internet has. Currently, Doug works for Mainframe, a blockchain startup that is a DeFi service provider and credit marketplace.
