David Ongchoco

David Ongchoco is Investor at Comma Capital, a jack of all trades operator, investor, entrepreneur, builder, and storyteller. Having grown up in the Philippines before coming to the US for college, I'm a big believer in the fact that talent is universal but opportunity is not, and I hope to open up more opportunities for people around the globe through my work. Previously, I started an international nonproift YouthHack, worked on an overseas outsourcing business SkillStackers and spent time working in venture capital and various startups. In college, I was a part of a student-run VC firm called Dorm Room Fund backed by First Round Capital which got me hooked into the world of early stage startups and investing. In my past life, I was a prolific journalist writing about startup founders and investors for the HuffPost & Inc. Magazine, among many other publications.
