CJ Hetherington

CJ Hetherington is Co-Founder of Atlantis World, Building Web3 Social Metaverse at Atlantis World. A huge proponent of accessible metaverse and interactive learning for DeFi: CJ is a multi-dimensional crypto-native with an unwavering passion for and knowledge of Web3. Having tried to raise $600k for an online gaming startup age 10 (he's still not legally old enough to enter a casino) whilst taking part in international campaigns for internet freedom and privacy, CJ eventually became interested in Bitcoin back in 2014 after taking part in the ProtonMail beta. He was building in the NFT space when daily transaction volume was below $200k USD (continuing to grow at an unprecedented rate but now currently over $200M USD) and launched 1 of the first 5 DeFi NFT (GameFi) projects that made it to the Ethereum Main Network in 2020. A founder, product manager, community architect, serial entrepreneur, and growth hacker; he is currently focused on building Atlantis World.: a pixel metaverse with token-gating, video calling, gamified DeFi + in-game DAO voting. In his spare time; he enjoys researching DeFi NFT, DAO, gaming and climate tech primitives whilst perpetually traveling the world.
