Buck Perley

Buck Perley is Senior Software Engineer at Unchained Capital, working in Bitcoin since 2016. I am an Austin based full stack software engineer, proficient in business Mandarin. I've most recently been developing with modern web technologies such as React/Redux, AngularJs, D3, Node/Express, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and SASS. One of the most exciting things for me about working with software is being able to look at a problem and to think of all of the different ways technology can solve it... and then executing that strategy. The thrill of jumping into new problems and exploring the different possible solutions is one of the things I love about engineering. It's also an attitude I've taken for most aspects my life, from thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail to motorcycling through every province in China to building an application that helps people monetize their home appliances. When I set my sights on something I want to accomplish, I explore all the tools at my disposal and implement the best available strategy in pursuit of those goals.
