He was a successful high stakes poker player for over 8 years before applying his in-depth knowledge of game theory and risk management at the poker table to cryptocurrency trading. After trading and angel investing in crypto for several years Ben became a member of several prominent investment DAO’s such as Metacartel and ultimately co-founded Ascensive Assets in 2018 where he became an early investor and thought leader in the defi sector.

Ben takes an active role in each investment at Ascensive Assets and focuses the majority of his attention on token economics and design, technical due diligence, and risk management.
