Aaron Barnard
Aaron Barnard is Senior Frontend Developer at Flex Dapps. Frontend JS web3 specialist, but comfortable with the full stack. Experienced with React, Redux, Svelte, Node, Express, Ethers, Web3, Clojure and many more.
I am the lead developer and maintainer for an open source project that is aiming to improve the UX of ethereum apps (and hopefully bitcoin in the future) called Blocknative Assist: https://github.com/blocknative/assist . Spent some time refactoring and adding to the code on the backend server to allow it to scale and to also add new functionality such as watching addresses.
I built the frontend for an app called Enzypt (https://enzypt.io) which allows users to sell digital content for ether anonymously, with no fees and in a permission-less way. It utilizes IPFS for storage and ethereum for payments.
I love spending my spare time experimenting with other languages and technologies such as functional programming, Clojure, Blockstack and Max (a visual programming language built on c++ that creates musical instruments). I was previously a sound engineer and musician, so I am fascinated with what can be built at the intersection of music, live performance and decentralized computing.
