In August 2021, 63 blockchain startups secured over $1.52 billion in funding rounds, marking a decline of approximately 21.23% MoM from July 2021. Compared to the same month last year, when 20 deals totaled $266.0240 million, there is a growth of about 508.20% YoY. Despite this decline, investor interest remains strong in the Solana ecosystem and Coinbase sector, reflecting ongoing momentum within the blockchain investment landscape.
In August 2021, 63 blockchain startups achieved over $1.52 billion in funding across 63 investment rounds. The most significant deal was clinched by Bitpanda, which raised $263 million. Notably, 37 rounds were pre-Series A, involving 37 early-stage ventures gaining recognition.
