Retrograde seeks to align users with the utilities of their tokens. For some users, that means amplifying protocol governance power. For others, that means optimizing yield and protocol revenue share.

Through the Retrograde protocol mechanisms, users can be intelligent and selective about what aspects of their tokens they care about. In doing so, Retrograde lets users earn additional yield on their yield-bearing assets, or focus on the governance utility by voting through the Retrograde treasury.

Users who primarily stake their assets to earn yield can continue to do so through Retrograde, earning more yield than they would on the native protocol.

Users who vote on governance polls can participate in the most efficient way to vote via the Retrograde treasury.

Lastly, protocol participants, such as liquidity providers, who want to benefit from boosts and rewards granted by holding protocol tokens, can do so through Retrograde without the hassle or price exposure of the tokens themselves.
